Originally from South Carolina, I lived in North Carolina for nearly 25 years before moving to Mexico, and I've lived in Jocotepec for six years.   Although I am not totally fluent in Spanish, my husband is from Guadalajara, so I'm constantly learning more Spanish.  I have my permanent residency and a Mexican driver's license.

 

I worked  in advertising and marketing in the publishing industry, and I was a paralegal for a federal judge for ten years in North Carolina.  

 

My two sons and my adopted daughter (half-Mexican) all live in North Carolina.    I am also a grandmother to four grandchildren and another one is due in December!  I was a foster parent for ten years and kept approximately 30 children of various ages

 

Currently, I work part-time for two companies in Ajijic handling marketing and administrative duties:  Marble & Granite - Ajijic and Riders of the Sierra Madre.

 

I love being busy, and I enjoy helping others.  I was always volunteering to run errands and helping friends and neighbors, so I decided I could make myself available to others who needed an extra pair of hands once in a while.  Therefore, my personal assistant venture was started!
